Day 21 of Turkesterone: A weekly summary.

If you havnt read the deep dive analysis into Turkesterone, read it here. The previous instalments: day 7, day 14. The daily logs can be found here.

Day 21, Weekly summaryTurk Dosage: 400mg (8 tablets) spread evenly through the day with meals. As of writing this update I have increased my dosage to 600mg of Turkesterone, which translates into 6grams of the powder. Weight: I have been tracking my weight daily, below is a visual representation of my weight loss two weeks prior to supplementation and to date. The solid blue bar represents when I began the experimentation. My calories have stayed exactly the same from before, 3400 a day where my maintenance is 3900.



Analysis: So in three weeks I've gained roughly 3lb in weight, by looking at my frame In the mirror I haven't gained fat and my lifts have gone up across the board, so I am confident in saying those 3 pounds of weight is lean tissue. It is still important to note my calories have not changed, in my opinion the Turkesterone is having a recomposition effect on my body.

I suspect the immediate weight reversal was due to water and glycogen retention where I was depleted before. The immediate spike in weight I saw in the first few days I think was due to this. I expect my weight wont increase that much more even with the increased dose now, instead I think my weight will stay relatively stable with my performance increasing.

But hey, I don't know, i'm just hypothesising off the data I have!

Is there a feel

Just like before there still isn't a feel while i'm on Turkesterone, I am a pretty positive guy regardless and don't have many "down days". Turk hasn't changed this, my moods feel stable and unaffected really.

Strength Last week I posted graphs to give a visual representation of my progress but the last weeks exercises have been hard to track so instead ill give a general rundown.


John has had me doing a bunch of time under tension, super sets and differently angled exercises this week so I won't know direct strength transfer until later. Today for example I will be hitting flat bench again and incline which will give me a good data point but as of writing this I don't.


What I can say with certainty is that my strength is increasing, before starting turk the previous 2 months I had stagnated in nearly all my lifts. I was lifting to maintain what I had while loosing my body fay, but now, thats changed. Each workout I feel like I can do more than I could before, be that control the weight better on the eccentric portion or eek out another rep.

Lets be clear, I'm not adding 10kg onto my lifts, but I am getting an extra 1-3 reps per exercise where before I was completely plateaued.

76cm - 29.9inch Diff + 4cm Right Thigh

So gains across the board apart from my ass where I hold a lot of my fat, this backs up my current hypothesis that I have gained a bunch of water weight, hence the increase in sizes. But that I am currently still loosing fat which we see from the reduction in my glutes. I think if I were to stop Turk right now I would loose half of all the size I have gained, obviously no idea of this would happen but I think it is a realistic amount.


Just as a vanity note, I'm getting reallllyyy nice pumps in the gym.

Final words

Cheers to everyone who is joining me on this little experiment. I'm having a lot of fun with it and to be honest with you all, i'm really excited with the results that I've gotten so far. I went into this experiment expecting both nothing and a legal steroid. Well, I think i'm getting something in-between from my current data. I'm beyond happy with the body part gains, even if they are transient lasting only as long as the experiment its a novel experience putting on what feels like lean mass this fast.


I will be continuing 600mg per day for the next few weeks so that should give us plenty of time to see if Turkesterone has a dose dependant effect on my body. I will be doing my second set of blood tests come the 26th of April.
